18:5. શાઉલે દાઉદને ઘણા યુદ્ધો લડવા મોકલ્યો, દાઉદે ખૂબ સફળતા મેળવી, તેથી શાઉલે તેને સૈન્યમાં ઊંચી પદવી આપી, તેને યોદ્ધાઓની દેખરેખનું કામ આપ્યું. શાઉલના માંણસોને અને બધાં લોકોને પણ આ ગમ્યું.

18:5. On every mission on which Saul sent him, David achieved success. So Saul appointed him over the men of war. This pleased not only all the army, but also Saul's servants.
